KAS Main Exam Syllabus:

The Main Exam is descriptive in nature, and the marks obtained in this stage are crucial for determining the final merit. The syllabus for the Main Exam is more detailed and comprehensive. It consists of 9 papers, out of which two are qualifying in nature, and seven are counted for merit.

o    Grammar and usage of the Kannada language

2.      English (Qualifying Paper):

1.       Paper 1: Essay

o    Candidates will be required to write two essays on topics related to the following:

Personality Test (Interview):

The Personality Test is the final stage of the KAS selection process. The interview panel will assess the following areas:
